Hello,
I'm trying to setup Rmail. My service provider has given me the username
"rt@robertthorpeconsulting.com". So, my username has the @ symbol in it.
I can't figure out how to make Rmail & Movemail work with this. If I write:
(setq rmail-primary-inbox-list
'("imap://rt@robertthorpeconsulting.com:pass@actual-imap-server.com"))
.... Then Rmail thinks that everything from the first @ is the name of
the mailserver.
I've tried this too, which also doesn't work:
(setq user-login-name "rt@robertthorpeconsulting.com"
rmail-remote-password "pass"
rmail-primary-inbox-list '("imap://actual-imap-server.com"))
This problem doesn't affect sending mail with smtpmail, that works.
Other mail programs work for receiving mail.
I've tried both POP and IMAP since the server supports both.
