Hi,

I want to be able to click on a file in the error output of npm
(coffeescript files), and open the file in an Emacs buffer.

I have loaded js-config.el, installed js-comint (using Cask), and
jshint (npm install -g). I am trying to test the following test.coffee
code in Emacs 24.3.1 on Fedora 20 (x86_64):

  for i in [0..5]
      consoleee.log "Hello #{i}"

It loads in the coffee REPL with the output when using C-c C-b:

------> for i in [0..5]
....... consolee.log "Hello #{i}"
.......
....... ReferenceError: consolee is not defined
    at repl:5:19
    at repl:8:3
    at REPLServer.replDefaults.eval
(/usr/share/coffee-script/lib/coffee-script/repl.js:33:28)
    at repl.js:239:12
    at Interface.<anonymous>
(/usr/share/coffee-script/lib/coffee-script/repl.js:62:9)
    at Interface.emit (events.js:117:20)
    at ReadStream.<anonymous>
(/usr/share/coffee-script/lib/coffee-script/repl.js:85:13)
    at ReadStream.emit (events.js:117:20)
    at emitKey (readline.js:1095:12)
    at readline.js:1080:7

The filenames in the output are not clickable. From the js-config.el,
shouldn't the " at" be stripped, and the js-hint should produce an
output where the filenames can be opened in a new Emacs buffer? How is
it possible to achieve this? Hitting C-c C-u says it is undefined.

What could I be missing?

If anyone can share their Emacs coffeescript configuration, that will
be helpful too.

Thanks!

SK
