This can be remedied as well by bringing everything
into Emacs - which has many other advantages as well!
Some of the most rewarding/obvious examples are:
Thunderbird -> Emacs Gnus
Firefox -> Emacs w3m
Irssi -> ERC
man pages -> M-x man
