The first part of yer solution works, but not the 2nd part.  I get a
response of "[No match]".  Backing up a bit and letting emacs do an
auto-completion only yields:

I use slrn fer news, but emacs is my general editor.  This ona Slackware
14.1 box using emacs 24.3.1.  ;)
