[Help-gnu-radius] "users" which kills radiusd :)

Dear Sirs,

when I put the following into "users"

DEFAULT Auth-Type = Local, Password-Location = SQL,
        Simultaneous-Use = 1,
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP

jane# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/gnu-radius.sh start
Abort trap (core dumped)
jane#

The question is: why RADIUS daemon dies ?
Another question is: what to put into "users" in case of PPTP server +CHAP
?
