Hi All.
There is a problem with radius-1.2
I have a Mandrake Linux 10 with kernel-2.6.3 and radius-1.2, which is used for
autorization and accounting.
On my NAS 's i use pppd with plugun and radiusclient.
There is a stange behaviour of radiusclient on one my NAS.
The radiusclient sent an autorization request to radius server, receive reply,
then sent accounting request and after 16 milliseconds !!! retransmit this
request, even if in i change the timeout and retries parametrs in the config
file of radiusclient.

This is tcpdump output:
14:02:00.707233 193.193.238.7.60006 > 193.193.238.5.1812:  rad-access-req 69

(DF)

14:02:00.735380 193.193.238.5.1812 > 193.193.238.7.60006:  rad-access-accept
38 [id 43] Attr[  Service_type{Framed} Framed_proto{PPP}
Session_timeout{27:46:40 hours} ] (DF)

14:02:00.761314 193.193.238.7.60006 > 193.193.238.5.1813:  rad-account-req 95
[id 44] Attr[  Acct_session_id{41345AA856CE} User{mouse} Acct_status{Start}
Service_type{Framed}(zero-length attribute) (DF)

14:02:00.779556 193.193.238.7.60006 > 193.193.238.5.1813:  rad-account-req 95
[id 44] Attr[  Acct_session_id{41345AA856CE} User{mouse} Acct_status{Start}
Service_type{Framed}(zero-length attribute) (DF)

14:02:00.785068 193.193.238.5.1813 > 193.193.238.7.60006:  rad-account-resp 20
[id 44] (DF)
14:02:00.785410 193.193.238.5.1813 > 193.193.238.7.60006:  rad-account-resp 20
[id 44] (DF)

I assume that this happens because of the bug or misconfiguration of my
radiusclient, but
the Radius server recognize the second request as duplicate and write to
radius.debug next message:

14:02:00 [27837]: Acct.info: login: entry for NAS 193.193.238.7 port 0
duplicate

Radius server don't drops this request and process it twice.
I tried to use extended comparison methods from this NAS, but it has't helped.

My question is: how to force radius server to drop duplication packets.
