The part that doesn’t seem to work is the writing to a directory specified by date; e.g.:

$ gbch-r -I '>`date +/tmp/%Y/%m/%d/`%d1' test.sh

It was confirmed by Reuti that it no longer works.

I've now pushed up a version which I hope to make GNUBatch 1.5 early next week (when I've done the updates to the API documentation and the library version numbers) which cures this issue.

To get it, grab the Git repository. Make sure you rebuild and reinstall everything as there are some field size differences such as to the host name size.

Networking should be easier you don't need all those entries in the hosts file.

There are provisions for Windows logins which I'll document which are intended for the Windows clients I intend to finish off in the next couple of months.

They use "PyQt" and will also work as an alternative GUI interface on Linux and other systems which support it.

When that's out of the way I intend to resume the next version which is a complete rewrite.
