The gnu.org site has a RSN message since august 2, 2003:
gnucap-0.33.tar.gz.back-RSN.README>
"The following files are not available because their authenticity is
being confirmed. We expect to have them uploaded Real Soon Now (RSN).
(...file list)
"
If only cvs will produce compilable code, copy one of the few things
sourceforge gets
right anymore, and list detailed instructions (copy/paste into a shell) for all
us newbies
on the homepage.
0.31 and 0.32 will not compile on a current system, this has been fixed
supposedly.

a windows
app with bugfixes so as to work under WINE better from Linear, it also happens
to be "free"
Linux user since 1.2.13. On an Amiga back then...
Currently running Mandrake 9.2//Cooker (release 9.2)
