Hello,
I've a simple linear circuit showing strange results:
-------
Bizzarre output
Vg 1 0 DC 9V
R1 1 2 6.7
Rb 2 3 80
L1 3 0 25.2mH ic=0
.PRINT TRAN I(Vg) I(L1)
.TRAN 0 5m 50u UIC
.END
----
All elements are in series, so clearly I(Vg)=-I(L1)
But instead, the first output value of I(Vg) is -900kA, and should be zero.
Current through the inductor is OK.
This does not happen if "UIC" is removed from TRAN command. Why? Are voltage
independent sources using initial conditions internally?
Ah, I nearly forgot it: I'm using Gnucap 2009.12.07 RCS 26.136. Not tested
with stable release.
