[Help-gnunet] problems connecting to the network

Hello! 

I wanted to test the prog so I did 'gnunet-search GPL' and it didn't worked, so 
I started trying to figure what was going on.
When I executed 
"gnunetd -d"
I got lots of 
"................................................................................
.................................................................................
.................................................................................
.............................................................HELO: broadcast 
poin
tless: no hosts known"

I've downloaded hosts.tar.gz from your site and uncompress it into 
~/.gnunet/data/hosts but Im getting the same error... 

Im not sure what am I doing wrong.
