They should be. I would suspect that you are not using exactly the same
keyword for the search. Make sure that you use exactly the same
capitalization.

GNUnet does not use ICMP. You do not need to add a rule for them.

Well, either it's a developer testing on a private network who does not
_want_ to connect to the rest of the world for testing (I've done that
occasionally) or it is a misconfigured peer (more likely).
