Yes, but it seems that it creates hard links, not symbolic links. I don't
know, is this the correct behaviour?

It's the behavior MacOS-X documents, and creating symbolic links
wouldn't make a lot of sense .... if you were just wanting a symbolic
link you could just link to the entire hierarchy using the
createSymbolicLinkAtPath:pathContent: method.
