No. It crashes immediately, even when the timeout is 60 s.

python-gnutls does not seem documented a lot (there are only a few
examples in the distribution) and I'm not sure it is maintained (it is
no longer mentioned on the author's Web page). May be there is a
better Python wrapper for TLS/SSL?
