It's a 64-bit host OS, but I'm running all the build tools in 32-bit mode (Windows-on-Windows, WOW), so everything should appear to be 32-bit and there shouldn't be any distinction.
Ok it seems you have to use disable-hardware-optimizations. Windows uses coff format which requires a different assembly file. I'll check on it soon.
