Hi,

I also recently downloaded gcc-g++-3.4.2

I downloaded version 3.4.2 because it was marked as "current".
(http://www.mingw.org/download.shtml)
Version 3.4.5 was marked "candidate", which i understood
a bit like "beta" or "not stable".

I'm a bit puzzled by your post.
Please, which is the last stable version ?
is version 3.4.5 stable ?
