MBR been overwritten by OEM softwares

Hi all,

 

I am using a DELL Desktop.

Already have a windows7 image running on it

 

Installed Lucid Lynx[ubuntu 10.04] on it

I m observing that grub is getting corrupted after every grub recovery using the live CD.

 

Ubuntu help sites sited that MBR data is being overwritten by OEM utilities like DELL recovery Utilities which is used by grub2.

 

How can i get rid of this problem?

Should i go for complete removal of DELL utility?
