GNU SASL 1.5.5 - stable release candidate

This is a release candidate for our new stable branch 1.6.x.  Please
test this release as if it were the final stable product!

The main new feature in this branch are:

 * GS2-KRB5, tested with GNU GSS+Shishi, Heimdal, MIT Kerberos V5 on
   GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Windows with MIT Kerberos for Windows.

 * SCRAM-SHA-1-PLUS, has been interop tested (with channel bindings)
   against at least one other implementation.

Top-level NEWS entries:

** gsasl: Add --no-cb to disable use of TLS channel bindings.

** build: Use silent build rules via automake.
Use 'make V=99' to see the command lines used.

Library (lib/) NEWS entries:

** API and ABI modifications.
No changes since last version.
