Dear sir:
    I was trying to build cross complier on my SCO
UNIX host(The target CPU is r4700):
host=i686-pc-sco3.2v5.0.6, target=mips64-elf. The
toolchain is:binutils-2.13.1, GCC-3.2.1,
Newlib-1.10.0.
    After "gmake", the error message is:
mips64-elf-gcc  -G 0 -O2 -EL -v -c test_boot.sx
Reading specs from
/usr/lsq/bar/lib/gcc-lib/mips64-elf/3.2.1/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.2.1/configure
--target=mips64-elf --prefix=/usr/lsq/bar
--with-newlib --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld
--with-headers=/usr/lsq/bar/mips64-elf/include
--enable-languages=c,c++
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.2.1
mips64-elf-gcc: test_boot.sx: linker input file unused
because linking not done
mips64-elf-ld  -G 0  -EL -o  pm6_test2.cof -r -e
_start -N   test_boot.o
mips64-elf-ld: cannot open test_boot.o: No such file
or directory
gmake: *** [pm6_test2.cof] Error 1

    test_boot.sx is a assembly programme. "linker
input file unused because linking not done" means
what? Is there something wrong with my gcc-cross
compiler?
    Your help and time will be great appreciated!
    Best regards!
