make returns following error

From: Wells, Adrian \(SCH\)
Subject: make returns following error
Date: Mon, 1 May 2006 10:38:11 +0100

Hello,

I have jsut installed gcc, make and binutils (and dependencies) onto debian 3.0 installed on a psion 5mx (ARM) pda.
I compiled hello world which worked.
To test further I tried to compile netcat 0.7.1 (A package which always seems to compile ok on PC's)
./configure succesfully made the Makefile:

# Makefile.in generated by automake 1.7.6 from Makefile.am.
# Makefile.  Generated from Makefile.in by configure.
