Hi all,
This might be a stupid question. I have a program that mainly uses a black
background terminal and typically draws text in something-on-black. However,
now I want to draw some text in black-on-something. Unfortunately, whenever
I create a color pair like (COLOR_BLACK, COLOR_GREEN) I end up with a gray on
a bright green background. A_BOLD is not set. This is happening in both
rxvt and xterm. TERM is set to xtermc, and I've also tried some other values
to no avail. The problem is gray-on-bright-green is hard to read, I want to
see black-on-green (or bright green is acceptable).
Also, if I do black-on-white, I end up with dark gray on light gray. There's
got to be a way to control this!
Thanks!
Mike
