I need to apply a fix from CVS. I've downloaded the
CVS tree and copied the fixed file
(/octave/libcruft/slatec-fn/dgamit.f) to the
corresponding /octave-2.1.36/libcruft/slatec-fn/
directory.
Next, I did 'make all' followed by 'make install'.
The problem still occurs when I test it.
/usr/local/bin/octave.exe is linked to
/usr/local/bin/octave-2.1.36.exe, which has the
correct compile date (today).
Is there an octave command line option to show the
compile date along with the version number?
Is there some other step that I need to take to
incorporate the fix?
I'm running on Cygwin.
