What is the latest status about gcc-4.0.x and octave?
I compiled octave 2.9.3 with gcc-4.0.1pre and F77=gfortran and got some
workiing code.
Is 2.9.3 the development version of octave now instead of the 2.1.x
branch? How do the branches differ?
Is it official that recent octave builds with recent gcc-4?
If not where are the bottlenecks?
What about the external libraries such as BLAS and ATLAS?
thanks, daniel
