Hi - we're considering using MPITB (http://etcpc7.ugr.es/mpitb_oct.php)
on a heterogenous cluster but in order to so will it appears we'll
need to rebuild both LAM and Octave:
So before I head down that road, I have two questons regarding
Octave:
(1) does Octave still support MPI? The configure script
appears to suggest support for MPI but I couldn't
find any information on how to use it.
Also, the only way I could configure Octave for the
LAM implementation of MPI was to use the following
option
--with-mpi="lam -lmpi"
which works for Solaris but breaks the configuration
script for Linux (claiming the "short" data type is
undefined.)
(2) does Octave still support the --enable-lite-kernel?
This option is in the manual but I couldn't find it
the configuration script for 2.1.71.
