Is anyone aware of a BOINC [1] enabled version
of gnu octave please? Is it a realistic thing to do?
Is anyone doing it please?
Looking at the BOINC documentation [2], it seems
feasible to convert gnu octave into a BOINC project.
The result might be a reasonable simple way to
run octave code on a 'virtual supercomputer' formed
by scavenging CPU cycles in a university department.
I've searched the list archives and done a search
using google. There doesn't seem to be any mention
of gnu octave being combined with BOINC.
