Octave for Windows problems w/ WindowsME/98

The newer version of Octave for Windows still have problems with 
Windows98/ME (looks like a fork issue). Actually this is a known cygwin 
problem that was never fixed (and it seems it will never be). So, if 
you're still using Windows98/ME, you won't be able to use the package I 
built. If anyone gets it to work (or knows how to fix cygwin) please, 
let me know.
