True, in a sense. However, if some users prefer a wiki interface then
why not..

The fact was my offer was that Nicolas could take the text for the
sparse matrix stuff that is a dead link in the matlab wikibook and use
it as a means of getting octave/matlab considered in the same wikibook.
Most of the sparse section of the octave manual equally applies the
matlab, with a couple of differences (matrix_type and the way the
polymorphic solver picks its algo are two). So Nicolas could almost just
take the sparse manual pages of octave and drop them into this section
to feed both the matlab and octave wikibooks.. If this is the price to
pay for some octave evangelism on the matlab wikibook then why not..
