printing graphs

can anyone tell me what is the best way to print a graph
that was plotted with x11? It seems the only way i know of
so far is to use the print screen command, but that gives me
the whole screen, not just the graph. Is there a better way
of doing this? I've tried the print command with Octave
3.0.1, but I might be missing something, i'm not sure.
