plotyy doesnt work with layering?

When I do a plotyy I can't seem to zoom on both of the axes on the same
time... This is using fltk graphics toolkit and 3.6.2. When I right click
and drag to zoom it only zooms on of the graphs at a time, which is a little
annoying because I can never get them to line up again. Does anyone know a
way to link the axes?
