I know the guy said we can use this for any purpose, but I'm not sure
if that's sufficient for legal purposes. For example, you can't
disavow copyright in some jurisidctions, as I understand it. Would you
mind asking him to pick an explicit free license for his code? From
what he said, he sounds like he wants a 3-clause BSD license.
