Are the y-axis units on your matlab plot really all 1? You did not
include the txy and W vectors computed in matlab in the data you
posted, that would be more helpful than a screen grab.

Are the x and y really almost identical?

octave:9> max (abs (x - y))
ans =  1.0926e-08

Given this, the transfer function should be essentially unity all-pass.

And as to the arguments of tfestimate, as Carnë mentioned, please
report it to our bug tracker.
