Can writing documentations be a GSoC proposal?

We can't say that Octave is poorly documented but to some extents Octave
maintainer
als o agree that there is some deficiency in documentation.The help texts of
functions
also lacks quality.I think I can make a proposal over this but I have left
only one proposal slot.
And I have still 2-3 proposal scope.So,Octave maintainers,how will it be as
a GSoC proposal?
