I found a workaround solution late Friday afternoon. I ran the configure,
which of course wanted to use /usr/bin/diff and /usr/bin/diff3. That process
created a cache file (config.cache). I modified the lines for diff and diff3
in config.cache to use /usr/local/bin, then reran configure, followed by
make and make install. That seems to have worked as I am nor able to checkin
binary files.

You might want to hang on to that as a workaround for Solaris costomers.

What about running `diff -a drrecyc drrecyc.ron | strings | wc -l' and
hoping for a bigger number than 1.

Here is the result of the diff command.

$ diff drrecyc drrecyc.ron
Binary files drrecyc and drrecyc.ron differ

As for the web, we have been looking for a solution there since very early
on. Everything offered as potential solutions on the web have already been
tried without success.
