Hello again,
a follow up an a previous message. Unfortunately the thread
was lost. The original message is [1].
On my suggestion, the ports maintainer of FreeBSD has applied
essentially the same patch as I suggested in [1] to the ports
tree of FreeBSD for the software shishi-1.0.1. That was done
on July, 17th, SVN revision 301018. His alterations were done
in order to avoid running autoconf on the modified source.
I would like to see the above action as a support of the sanity
in my suggested update expressed in [1]!
