Howdy,
1) in gstconf.h.in there is a line defined as:
#define MMAP_BASE ((char *)0)
the space after "char" causes ./configure to generate:
#define MMAP_BASE ((char *)0x40015000) *)0)
the solution is to remove the space after "char". ie:
#define MMAP_BASE ((char*)0)
2) minor bug. VERSION in configure is defined as 1.8.1
3) the ouput of "make check" seems to indicate a problem (see below)
4) during "make install" there seems to be some unwanted control
characters in one of the kernel/*.st files (see below)
