1) As far as I can see ôôÌ (the Euro sign) is not processed by
texi2dvi --recode
This does not surprise me, since there has not been a release of recode
in years. I'll tell the maintainer (Francois Pinard), but don't hold
your breath. Sorry.
! I can't find file `feymr10'.
Where do I get font feymr10?
Where do I have to install it?
I guess I should have known better than to think it would be available
in most distributions already. See
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/eurosym/
There are some installation instructions there. For testing purposes,
if you just put all the files in the current directory, it should work.
I'll add some information about this to the manual.
3) Using @node and @unnumbered with Umlaut leads to errors in .aux if
processed by texi2dvi --recode. Obviously the @" commands make problems.
@ commands can't be used in node names when processing with TeX, whether
literally or if synthesized there with recode. This is a horrible
restriction which is the #1 major thing I want to address ... but I
haven't done it yet. Sorry again.
Cheers,
karl
