Apparently you don't have any terminal library installed.  It's only
needed for the standalone info program, and you don't need that.  Just
copy the makeinfo binary to your bin directory.  That is the only one
that I can imagine other packages wanting.

Well, and install-info but since you say you are running Ubuntu, I
imagine you already have that from somewhere else; Debian has its own
incompatible install-info.
