I am subscribed to several lists at sourceforge.net and heroes-discuss
is the only one I ever receive spam at. I actually hoped the recent move
to nongnu.org would improve the situation, but I didn't notice any
difference until now. Is the old address still active (and being
forwarded) or did the new list already fell victim to the spammers?
One possible way to fight spam would be moderating messages from people
not subscribed to the list. If anybody told me how to do that I'd offer
to volunteer for that job.
