I'd be totally willing to just plow through that for you. Roland has
mentioned that he wanted to wait until drepper updated glibc, though.
Roland, do you think drepper would accept patches to update glibc to a
recent autoconf? He doesn't seem to even have it on his todo list for
2.3 at all.
