[igraph] Install error in R (Ubuntu)

Dear igraph developers,

I am trying to install igraph as a package in R 2.4.1 under Ubuntu
Feisty (7.04). The usual command:
  
  install.packages("igraph",dep=T)

gives the following error messages:

My version of gcc is gcc-4.1. I also tried to unpack the R package
igraph_0.4.2.tar.gz and configure it manually with:

  ./configure

and this is what I get:
