Indeed, you're right. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it must definitely
be something in the R interface and not in the C core of igraph as the same
command works fine from the Python interface. Please submit a bug report at
http://bugs.launchpad.net/igraph/+filebug -- Gabor will probably take care of
it in the near future.
