instead I'm getting a redefined set of vertices and the mapping between
the line graph vertices (0,1,2) and the graph edges is not provided.
The mapping is very simple: edge i in the original graph is vertex i in the line graph. This is not stated explicitly in the documentation yet so I will add that to make things clearer.
