[igraph] Differences between UCINET and igraph for Freeman's degree centralization

Hi,

 

I’m curious about whether anyone else is getting different results between UCINET and igraph.

 

In UCINet, I’m getting: 31.838% (for outdegree) and 15.956% (for indegree).

 

In igraph, I’m getting: 56.20915% (for outdegree) and 20.91503 (for indegree).

 

The same network data was used for both UCINET and igraph. The network is directed and weighted.

 

As a side note, I created fictitious star network data and got 100% in UCINET but 75% in igraph.
