Is this an application-wide replacement? I know that ARPACK has had some issues calculating various community detection measures in the past in certain circumstances. IIRC, Leading Eigenvector has been a problem.

No progress yet as it is more or less decided that we’ll replace ARPACK with PRPACK in igraph 0.7 for PageRank calculations and it will be released soon(ish). However, if you really need to calculate PageRank scores for your graph, send it to me and I’ll try to get it done.
