[igraph] Network process

Hello:

I have a network which include self-interactions and redundancy(I.e., there may be multiple edges between two nodes).   Can I remove  self-interactions and redundancy using igraph?

BTW, can I find all previous questions from other users and the answers, some where?  So I can search whether someone else asked similar questions before I throw questions to you.
