[igraph] Accessing nodes from a clique

Sorry if this question is really about R rather than iGraph.

I have run:

cls <- cliques(g, min=3, max=3)

and get this:

cls[1]
[[1]]
+ 3/96 vertices, named:
[1] 604  7240 8560

The numbers are the names of nodes but I want the node index (or iGraph node 
number or whatever it is called).

unlisting gives me:

unlist(cls[1])
 604 7240 8560 
   1    5    7 

Now I can see the node numbers, but please, how do I get at them? I'd like:

[1] 1 5 7

but even getting at them one at a time would be useful.
