If you're working client/server, some CVS operations copy your
files to /tmp on the server machine; I don't whether import is
one of these, but the fact that the error isn't complaining about
a0219.html,v suggests that this may be happening.
Also, don't forget that many Unices reserve N% of the filespace
for root, so you'll get "No space left on device" errors at 90%
or 95% full.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea.
