I'd like to thank everyone for your help. I think I have a firm grasp on
this issue now.
I would like to specially thank the 3 or so of you who actually attempted to
help me solve this problem and didn't just go off on a whiney tangent about
some kind of theoretical "best usage" policy... I was already familiar with
how it SHOULD be done, but sometimes it is not possible to use the "ideal"
method. Thanks again to all of you who understood that and gave helpful
(and relevant) information on the topic.
