Can you get try the cygwin version of cvs?
cvs -v reports that it's v1.11 and the exe is located in WinCVS1.2's installation directory.
Does cvs -t provide any enlightenment?
It just provides one extra line saying "notice: main loop:"
One thing I did to help to track down problems was I made CVS_RSH point to
a script myssh that simply ran ssh with the verbose option. This was on a
unix box, which shell scripts work a little bit better. Perhaps you can do
something similiar in your environment?
As I'm using CYGWIN, it might work. But what command should the script contain?
1. ssh -l xxx xxx.yyy.zzz cvs cvs -d blahblah checkout module
or
2. cvs -d blahblah checkout module
Thanks
Mark
