Derek,
Am I just mising a pointer to a new page or what?
Your messages did not indicate that anon CVS access was going away and I have
poked around
www.cvshome.org and the only pages which have info about anon cvs access that I
found was
http://www.cvshome.org/docs/dl_help1.html
http://www.cvshome.org/dev/
but following the directions nets me:
cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/home2/cvsroot login
(Logging in to address@hidden)
CVS password:
Fatal error, aborting.
anonymous: no such user
cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs.cvshome.org rejected access to
/home2/cvsroot for user anonymous
passwd=guest
or
cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/cvsroot login
(Logging in to address@hidden)
CVS password:
Fatal error, aborting.
anoncvs: no such user
cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs.cvshome.org rejected access to
/cvsroot for user anoncvs
passwd=[Enter key] or guest
my client is: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11 (client/server)
on Linux

I'd crawl over an acre of 'Visual This++' and 'Integrated Development
That' to get to gcc, Emacs, and gdb. Thank you.
