Hi,
Using CVS version 1.10.8 on Windows 2000, I am trying to check-out a module
using the global "-d" option, specifying the full path of the repository:
cvs -d :local:z:\iil\iswp\data\apt\ISIS\repository get trycvs
(where 'z:\iil\iswp\data\apt\ISIS\repository' is the full path of the
repository, under which the CVSROOT directory resides, together with the
"trycvs" module. Drive z: in my case is mapped to the root of an AFS tree.)
What I get in return is:
cvs [checkout aborted]: CVSROOT z:\iil\iswp\data\apt\ISIS\repository
must be an absolute pathname
What can the problem be? Isn't z:\iil\... an absolute pathname? Note that
the same command-line worked fine with version 1.10.7 of CVS (also on
Windows 2000).
Thanks,
Shlomo
